Question time after the movie, Bruce and John will be only too happy to answer any questions you may have about Fracking. You may want to know what's on the agenda for your region.

Tai Chi Maire teaches Pro-Bono Tai-Chi with the Manning Valley U3A in Taree. Maire has 67 pupils and also at the ‘Senior Citizens’. 'My aim is to keep as many people as healthy as possible' says Maire. Maire recently received an Achievement Award in Sydney for ‘Seniors Week’ 2011 by Human Services NSW. Container Gardens / Composting An active and enthusiastic Manning Organic Gardening Group will be demonstrating how one can make a containerised garden and also how to make compost from raw materials. If you wondered how it’s done come along and have a chat with the members.The next meeting will be held on June 27th at the Anglican Hall, Wingham.

Folk Dancing for All Sandra is a qualified dance instructor with ‘Folk Dance Australia’. F.D.A.A.T She has been teaching dance for over 30 years in the Manning Valley. A unique opportunity to come along and enjoy authentic dances from around the world. Be inspired by the traditional music and dances from various countries. Easy to follow steps, no partner required as most dances are done in a hora / hora (circle). Weekly class is run every Wednesday evening in Taree. For more information call Sandra 02 6552 5142.

Yoga for Adults Tahnia will be conducting a condensed version of what she usually presents in her regular yoga classes. Created by Tahnia, unique to her classes are the ‘Moving Meditations’. These are carefully crafted sequences that involve expressive dance-like movement, yoga asana, affirmation & creative visualization. They are enjoyable, easy to perform, help make the body flexible, strong & healthy whilst also bringing strength of spirit & lightness to the heart. The session will also include other elements of her class such as:-the use of simple props to enhance certain asanas: self massage: Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation). Having trained with the I.Y.T.A. she has been giving classes since 2003 & prior to that in Sydney since 1991. Presently she has one weekly class on Saturday mornings in Wingham from 9.15 - 10.45 am. Now ready to expand to other days & venues.
Special Announcement. Tahnia is pleased to announce that her own purpose built yoga studio in Wherrol Flat has just been completed. She will soon begin a Wednesday morning class there with a Steiner inspired creche. For more details please contact Tahnia May-Lee on 02 6550 7278.

The Manning River Steiner School will be presenting storytelling for children aged 3-6 year old. Cheree Watt who will be doing the presentations is a gifted storyteller with many years experience. Cheree is the coordinator of the 'Little Sunflower' Playgroup at the school which runs on Tuesday Wednesdays and Thursdays. Parents and their children are also welcome to our open days held regularly at the school.
